Designed at the southwestern edge of the village of Foinikia, Klostrá is organically tied to it, becoming an integral part of it.
The geometric shapes of the Klostrá, in the color of red theraic stone, as well as the forms of black stone submerged in the water sensually capture the environment.
The reception area and the breakfast room with bar extend on the ground floor. The rooms are located both on the ground as well as on the first floor.
They all have a private terrace, and most have a private jacuzzi.
The diversity in the design of the rooms provides multiple possibilities for the visitor, with different visual escapes to the landscape and the sea, as well as unique living experiences with the water element.
The alternation in the scale of the open and closed spaces and the design of the circulation zones form different degrees of privacy and relaxation, meeting your every need.
The swimming pool, a central element of the architectural composition, develops linearly along the main facade of the building, making its presence strong with the sound of water and the reflection of light in its earthy hues.
Moreover, its direct relationship with the ground floor rooms and their terraces provides visitors with another dimension of experiencing the space during their stay.
Finally, in the western part there is an outdoor seating and relaxation area, offering unique views over the exquisite sunsets of the island. The composition is flanked by wooden pergolas, creating interesting alternations of light and shadow.
The entrance to the complex is through the large courtyard door. The mantra (the Greek traditional paddock), built of black local stone, both delimits the private outdoor space and continues the path-backbone of the settlement of Foinikia.
Through the outdoor configurations and green spaces, the visitor approaches the reception area with the characteristic custom-made furniture. Continuing this space, but distinctly separated using
Klostrá, the breakfast room and bar area are located.
The rooms are freely structured in the inside, with the bathroom in an open layout and a private WC. The prevailing color tones are earthy - a reference to the volcanic landscape-, while the openings frame the sea view.
